CORYNEBACTERIUM GLUTAMICUM GENES ENCODING PROTEINS INVOLVED IN CARBON METABOLISM AND ENERGY PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a SMP nucleic acid involved in the metabolisms of carbon compounds such as sugars and the production of energy molecules in processes (oxidative phosphation or the like) in Corynebacterium glutamicum, and to provide a protein molecule.

SOLUTION: Corynebacterium glutamicum nucleic acid selected and isolated from a group consisting of specific sequences, or its complementary material. The whole genome DNA of Corynebacterium glutamicum ATCC 13032 strain is extracted. The DNA is used to produce a plasmid or cosmid library. The base sequence of the library is determined. The sequence is subjected to a computer analysis to analyze functions. The selected library is used in an expression system to confirm its functions.
