OPTICAL PICKUP DEVICE AND OPTICAL DISK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device and an optical disk device preventing deterioration of a polarization hologram caused by incidence of a laser beam with wavelength for blue laser on the polarization hologram for CD and DVD.

SOLUTION: The optical pickup device has: a first objective lens 10 which condenses a laser beam with long wavelength to irradiate the DVD/CD with the laser beam; a second objective lens 13 which is arranged at a position adjacent to the first objective lens 10 and condenses a laser beam with short wavelength to irradiate a disk compatible with blue laser with the laser beam; a raising mirror 9 which turns the laser beam with long wavelength toward the first objective lens 10 and transmits the laser beam with short wavelength; the polarization hologram 11c which is provided between the first objective lens 10 and the raising mirror 9 and changes the optical path of reflected light from the DVD/CD to divide the optical path for sensor detection; and a filter film 11g which is provided between the raising mirror 9 and the polarization hologram 11c, transmits the laser beam with long wavelength and simultaneously intercepts the laser beam with short wavelength.
