<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double lid system technology for handling and transferring a hazardous material which is low in cost and high in safety. <P>SOLUTION: The double lid system for handling and transferring the hazardous material uses a lid and a flange in a first container or a waterproof compartment and special metal-metal junction by a lid and a flange in a second container. A standard 200 liter barrel can be used for the second container. This double lid system for handling and transferring purposes of the hazardous material is formed of the lid (2) in the second container a built with a metal substance and the lid (4) in the first container capable of joining to this. These lids turn into a double lid by joining, the double lid is equipped with flanges (1a), (1b) and (3) for the junction. The metal-metal junction (20-20', 21-21', 22-22' and 23-23') is performed in the lid and the flange, the lid (4) in the first container has at least one fixed position of the first sealing (5) in a desirable embodiment mode.
