<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap-like opening member attached to the top of a container sealed with a lid, which enables the opening of the container by preventing a finger from being putted into the container or a splash from being caused and the removal of contents without obstruction by the opening member, and causes no problem on the appearance of the container in an opened state. <P>SOLUTION: A push-in portion 16 of the opening member 4 has a push-in operation board 18 integrally near a hinge connection part 15, where the push-in operation board 18 extends upward almost perpendicular to the upper face of the push-in portion 16. Pushing down the push-in operation board 18 sideways causes the push-in portion 16 to rotate downward on the hinge connection part 15 which causes an edge 17 to cut open the lid 3.
