PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system and image forming apparatus which enable a user to recognize that the second function has been added to the image forming apparatus capable of executing the first function, and to provide an information terminal device.

SOLUTION: The image forming system which includes an image forming apparatus 500 and an information processor 600 connected to the image forming apparatus is equipped with a function detecting means 520 for detecting it that the second function has been added to the image forming apparatus 500 capable of executing the first function and a notice means 620 for informing the user of the first function of the result in case it has been detected that the second function has been added by the function detecting means.
