<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser printer capable of stably forming a satisfactory image. <P>SOLUTION: A correction-use regist image is formed on a conveying belt 33 in a state that a paper sheet is placed on a conveying belt. Thus, a correction is performed based on a correction-use regist image formed on a conveying belt in the same condition as the case where an image is actually formed on the paper sheet (refer to S160, etc).
