<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of reducing a mounting area on a circuit board for a light emitting diode module and circuit elements belonging to it. <P>SOLUTION: In a mold part 110 of the light emitting diode module 100, two housing recessed parts 130R and 130L extending in the vertical direction are formed on the right rear end side and the left rear end side, respectively, and circuit elements 200 and 300 are housed in the respective housing recessed parts 130R and 130L, respectively.
