摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system provided with a means for monitoring remaining quantity of electricity in each battery, distributing charged/discharged currents accurately, in accordance with the number of batteries connected in parallel and making use of all the batteries at all times. <P>SOLUTION: This elevator system is provided with a plurality of battery units 20 charged by direct current electric power of a converter 12 and a battery control module 27 including battery charging/discharging circuits 22 to 26, a means for detecting the number of battery units 20 connected in parallel, a means for computing average charged current/upper limit discharged current of the units 20 in accordance with the number of detected battery units, and a means for revising charged current/discharged current of each unit from the average charged current/upper limit discharged current and setting them in accordance with the quantity of already charged electricity/the quantity of already discharged electricity of each unit 20 detected in the battery charging/discharging circuits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
