PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve simplification and speed up of editing for an editing system. SOLUTION: The editing system manages relation between editing result clip and editing target clip in a hierarchical structure, and produces the editing result clip based on the relation between the clips managed in the hierarchical structure, thereby making the complex editing easy and efficient and achieving simplification and speed up of the editing.
