PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel supporting device which can exactly support travel when a driver performs same operation in the same situation with that in which the driver has had an accident or likely to have caused an accident in the past. SOLUTION: The travel supporting device 1 which determines the possibility of collision of one's own-vehicle and performs travel support of the vehicle, is provided with; a detection device 2 which detects driving conditions of the own-vehicle; a storage device 4 which stores data of past hazard information for the own-vehicle; and a determination means 5 to compute a correlation value r of data detected by the detection means 2 and the data of past hazard information stored in the storage device 4 and determine presence/absence of possibility of collision by whether the computed correlation value r has exceeded thresholds rth1 and rth2 provided beforehand.
