PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater with a pressure sensor capable of detecting combustion pressure with high accuracy, and a glow plug using the heater. SOLUTION: The heater comprises a columnar heater body with a heating body embedded in the tip side which is disposed in a combustion chamber, and the pressure sensor for detecting pressure propagated in an axial direction from the tip side of the heater body toward the rear end side.
