PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement vane pump reducing vibration and drop of pump efficiency accompanying offset deformation of a drive shaft. SOLUTION: In the variable displacement vane pump provided with vanes installed in a plurality of slots provided in a circumference direction of a rotor in such a manner that the same can move in and out the slots, a cam ring provided on a support surface of a pump body in the pump body in such a manner that the same can swing and forming a plurality of pump chambers in an inner circumference side together with the rotor and the vane, and a seal member provided on an outer circumference side of the cam ring and partitioning an outer circumference side space of the cam ring into a first liquid pressure chamber provided in a direction increasing pump delivery quantity and a second liquid pressure chamber provided in a direction reducing pump delivery quantity, a center of the cam ring is arranged with offsetting to a suction port side from a center of a drive shaft.
