PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve joining force between solid soap and a holding base, to prevent water from entering in a joining part, to prevent separation of the soap and the base even if the soap is used continuously by gripping the base, and to quickly dry the soap for preventing deformation by placing the soap so that the soap is on the base when not using. SOLUTION: The holding base 2 for placing the solid soap 9 is provided with distributed recesses 4 or grooves having many openings which face a placing surface 3 of the holding base 2. When the solid soap 9 is fixed to the holding base 2 by solidifying liquefied soap base material, a fixing surface of the solid soap 9 is fixed to the placing surface 3 of the holding base 2. Projections 10 or ribs are formed on the fixing surface of the solid soap 9 so as to correspond each of the recesses 4 or the grooves of the holding base 2, and the projections 10 or ribs are fixed into corresponding recesses 4 or grooves.
