PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply constituted cutting board which can be easily lifted even with one hand, is easily manufactured and is excellent in durability as well. SOLUTION: The cutting board 10 has knob parts 13 and 14 in a thin plate shape formed by notching a part of the plate material 12 from at least one of front and back plate surfaces to the side end face on the outer peripheral end of the planar plate material. It is better to provide the knob parts 13 and 14 on the corners of the rectangular plate material 12. Also, it is better to provide the knob parts 13 and 14 in a pair on the corners on the short side of the plate material 12 and arrange the knob parts 13 and 14 alternately on the front and back surfaces of the plate material. It is better to form the notched surface of the knob parts 13 and 14 by a single surface in which a surface sunk from the plate surface of the plate material 12 and a surface opened to the side end face of the plate material 12 are connected by a plane or a concave curved surface.
