The screw shaft (2) has a male thread formed by two grooves and two edges protruding from the shaft in its radial direction. The first edge (7) is located next to the first groove (6) and these combine to form a first thread configuration, whilst the second edge (9) is located next to the second groove (8) and these combine to form a second thread configuration. The first and second edges are raised relative to the intermediate region (10) separating the neighbouring first and second thread configurations and the first and second grooves are recessed relative to this region. The spiral path followed by the first edge has a greater diameter than the spiral path followed by the second edge. |
