METHOD AND UNIT FOR OBTAINING CHANNEL QUALITY DIRECTION INFORMATION, METHOD AND UNIT FOR TRANSFERRING CHANNEL QUALITY DIRECTION INFORMATION, TRANSFERRED SIGNAL, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a unit for obtaining channel quality direction information for at least one frequency sub-band from a second communication unit by means of a first communication unit.

SOLUTION: This method and unit relates to how to link a first communication unit and a second communication unit via a wireless communication network by using a number of frequency sub-bands. The frequency sub-bands are grouped into a single frequency sub-band and a message is sent from the first communication unit to the second communication unit. The message including identification information for the first group of at least one frequency sub-band receives information on a channel quality direction decided by the second communication unit in terms of frequency sub-bands included in the first group from the second communication unit for each frequency sub-band included in the first group.
