摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for supplying EGR gas from a low pressure EGR passage and EGR gas from a high pressure EGR gas in an appropriate ratio. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas recirculation device for the internal combustion engine is provided with a turbocharger having a turbine and a compressor; the low pressure EGR passage for recirculating the exhaust gas in the turbine downstream side to the compressor upstream side; the high pressure EGR passage for recirculating the exhaust gas in the turbine upstream side to the compressor downstream side; an EGR ratio determination means S101 for determining the ratio of the EGR gas amount flowing through the low pressure EGR passage and the high pressure passage; clogging determination means S105 and S107 for determining a clogging degree of at least one of an exhaust passage in the upstream side of the low pressure EGR passage and the downstream side of the high pressure EGR passage, the low pressure EGR passage, and an intake passage in the downstream side of the low pressure EGR passage and the upstream side of the high pressure EGR passage; and correction means S106 and S109 for correcting a value determined by the EGR ratio determination means in accordance with the clogging degree. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
