<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate causes when failing to acquire information from a wireless IC tag and detect unexpected operation to the wireless IC tag such as reading and writing while estimating the remaining life of the wireless IC tag. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless IC tag has a counter which counts up or down when receiving a signal via an antenna, succeeding in demodulation of the received signal, succeeding in decoding after demodulation, recognizing that the received signal is a command, the received command is destined to the wireless IC tag, and the received command requests response. Otherwise, the wireless IC tag has a counter for each required data area which counts up or down when reading each data area or a counter for each byte of a memory which counts up or down when reading each byte area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
