<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deep groove ball bearing with a synthetic resin cage, which has stable behavior during high speed rotation. <P>SOLUTION: The deep groove ball bearing 1 comprises: an outer ring 2 having a circular outside rolling surface 2a on the inner periphery; an inner ring 3 having a circular inside rolling surface 3a on the outer periphery; a plurality of balls 4 rollingly stored between both rolling surfaces via the cage 5; and seals 6 mounted at both ends of the outer ring 2, the bearing being filled with grease. In this case, an inner diameter 2b of the outer ring 2 is formed with predetermined size and accuracy by grinding work, and the cage 5 of a snap-on type is formed by injection molding a synthetic resin. A radial clearance α between the inner diameter 2b of the outer ring 2 and the cage 5 is set to be smaller than a radial displacement β of the cage 5 to suppress the eccentric motion and deformation of the cage 5 with centrifugal force generated by the high speed rotation of the bearing, resulting in stable behavior. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
