PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog/digital converter, an inspection method for the analog/digital converter, and an inspection apparatus therefor inspecting conversion accuracy in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The analog/digital converter is equipped with: a digital/analog conversion section 11 for generating a reference voltage Vref; a comparator 12 for comparing an analog input signal Vin with the reference voltage Vref; a control section 13 for varying the reference voltage Vref depending on an output of the comparator 12 to control successive comparison between the analog input signal Vin and the reference voltage Vref; a data selection circuit 14 for selecting whether the control section 13 or an external device supplies digital data set to the digital/analog conversion section 11; and an output circuit 15 for transmitting an output of the comparator 12 outward.
