PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel in which warping does not occur on a plate glass when a front plate glass and a rear plate glass are sealed by a low-melting point sealing glass even in the case the plate glass with small plate-thickness and large size are used, and which contributes to achieving large screen, high resolution, and weight reduction of the display panel. SOLUTION: In the display panel in which the front plate glass and the rear plate glass are airtightly sealed through a low-melting point sealing glass, the plate-thickness of the front glass and the rear plate glass is made less than 2.8 mm and the difference of thermal expansion coefficient between the front plate glass and the rear plate glass is made 2.0×10<SP>-7</SP>/°C or less.
