PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating fixing device for improving heating efficiency of a heating member. SOLUTION: The heating fixing means has a heating means 9 for heating the heating member 15 from the outside of the heating member. The heating means has: a metal-made flexible member 11; a heating element 10 for heating the flexible member by heat radiation; and a holding member 17 for holding both ends of the flexible member in a longitudinal direction orthogonal to a recording material conveying direction.
