PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for installing a sink to a wooden kitchen counter, which can securely provide waterproofness to the wooden kitchen counter. SOLUTION: A concave groove is formed in the surface of the wooden kitchen counter 1 placed on the peripheral edge of an opening for installing the sink, which is formed in the wooden kitchen counter 1. A water-stop member with a C-shaped cross-section is fitted to the concave groove with its opening facing upwards, and the periphery edge of a flange 31 of the sink 3 is inserted and a caulking material is filled inside the water-stop member.
