PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transforming method capable of easily and in a high efficiency transforming a fruit tree of Rosaceae, a transformed body obtained by the method and a gene recombinant fruit tree of the Rosaceae. SOLUTION: In the transformation of the fruit tree of the Rosaceae by an Agrobacterium method, it is possible to obtain the transformed bodies in a high probability by limiting the period of collecting seeds used for preparing outside planting bodies from the beginning of May to middle of the month, a coexist-culturing period as approximately for 3 days and an antibiotic substance used for controlling bacteria as meropen. Also, by treating with an ultrasound wave before the coexist-culturing, the transformation efficiency can be improved. And further, by applying a root germination treatment to the transformed bodies, the gene recombinant fruit trees of the Rosaceae can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
