PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a green house designed so as to keep illumination intensity constant even when the plant length varies. SOLUTION: The green house is provided with subsidiary lights 13 supplementing the sun light in a house 12 made of a transparent board 11 so as to let the sunlight in. The subsidiary lights 13 are hung in the green house via a light-elevating mechanism 20 so as to change the height thereof. The subsidiary lights are raised via the light-elevating mechanism when the plants grow high so that the distance between the subsidiary lights and the plants is kept constant.
