A front support section (52) and the support frame are movable relative to each other, wherein an opposed movement corresponds to an extension of the support frame. A rear support section (53) is rigidly connectable to the support frame, and the front and rear support sections are adjustable so that the stowage device can be stably adjusted in a predetermined section of a vehicle's interior.
