PHOTONIC CRYSTAL STRUCTURE POSSESSOR AND MANUFACTURING METHDOD THEREOF

A photonic crystal structure holder is provided to be utilized as a design workpiece showing beautiful and high quality colors and textures by coping photonic crystal structure surface of a natural object on metal through electroless-plating or electroplating. A manufacturing method of a photonic crystal structure holder comprises the steps of: covering a coping material(30) on a surface of a natural object(10) with photonic crystal structure; imparting conductivity to the separated coping material after separating the covered coping material; forming a plating layer on a surface(31) of the conductivity-imparted coping material; and separating the formed plating layer from the surface of the coping material to obtain a photonic crystal structure holder. The coping material comprises silicone rubber or polydimethylsiloxane. The manufacturing method further comprises the step of hardening the covered coping material after covering the coping material. The manufacturing method comprises the step of placing a prepared natural object on an inner part of an operation container such that a photonic crystal structure surface(11) of the natural object is directed upward.
