An optimized initialization setup method for a display device is provided to set the display device to be suitable for the desired use of the display device. An initial power-up state of a display device is detected(S11). Selection items according to inter-different viewing environment are provided to a user(S12). A response indicating one selected among the selection items is received from the user(S13). A plurality of control parameter values are set up and stored on the basis of the received response(S14,S15). The display device is a flat panel TV apparatus. |
