<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method of a wireless LAN access point, which suppresses increase in radio bands, by making RTP transmission packets addressed to a wireless LAN terminal which has moved to a weak electric field reduced, at the wireless LAN access point. <P>SOLUTION: At the wireless LAN access point, the number of successfully transmitted packets and the number of error packets that have failed to be transmitted are counted per wireless LAN terminal, with respect to transmission packets addressed to wireless LAN terminals, and a transmission error rate is calculated from the number of successfully transmitted packets and the number of error packets within a certain time and is recorded, and control is performed where the frequency in retransmission of RTP packets to be transmitted to wireless LAN terminals is gradually reduced from the present frequency in retransmission, when the transmission error rate exceeds a preliminarily determined first stage threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
