<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain resolution of problems that an arbitrary nonlinear reduction image can not be generated/displayed for various images in various environments since handling of a source image or a region of interest is limited so as to have to make source image data and information of the region of interest exist within a computer which performs image processing for reduction image generation, in nonlinear reduction image generation where a region, desired by a user to pay attention much more, to called region of interest is set to a source image and the region of interest is kept as a source image size or enlarged with respect to an overall image but the source image other than the region of interest is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A server device is provided which comprises a function for acquiring or generating image information, a function for transmitting the image information to a client device, a function for receiving region information that can be made corresponding to the image information, from the client device, a function for transmitting image information based on obtained image information to the client, and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
