<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic device where the number of components attached to a disk drive device can be reduced by removing the disk drive device from a housing part utilizing a shock-absorbing rubber. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic device 1 includes: a casing 4 having the housing part 11; the disk driving device 21 housed detachably in the housing part 11 of the casing 4; and the shock-absorbing rubber 23 which is provided at the disk driving device 21 and which is deformable elastically. The shock-absorbing rubber 23 is interposed between the housing part 11 and the disk driving device 21 when the disk driving device 21 is housed in the housing part 11.
