PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a perforated film or foil in a simple and economic manner. SOLUTION: The device has a means 5 for perforation of a film or foil 2, and a means 19 for crimping an edge of a thus-formed hole. By crimping the edge, the hole is fixed after having been opened. There is no need of a punching tool for cutting the perforation out of the film or foil. Rather, a desired hole is first formed as a hole or cut line, and then enlarged.
