PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a period of time required for an image formation. SOLUTION: The image forming device having a storage device has a converting means, an image data forming means, a shape judging means, and a selecting means. The converting means converts a page description language into the page description language which corresponds to a plurality of regions. The image data forming means forms image data, based on the page description language which has been converted by the converting means. The shape judging means judges the shape of an object which is included in the plurality of regions. The selecting means selects the page description language having been converted by the converting means which is stored while correlating with the storage device, and the image data having been formed by the image data forming means depending on the shape of the object which has been judged by the shape judging means.
