摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compatible lock of a steering angle at the time of occurrence of a failure and recovery of the steering angle to a neutral position, in a wheel steering device. SOLUTION: A linear motion actuator 10 converts a rotating motion of a servo motor 14 into a linear motion of an output shaft 32. A tie rod 50 is connected to the output shaft 32 of the linear motion actuator 10 to turn wheels. A steering angle limiting mechanism is constituted of: an engaged drum 56 mounted on a rotating part of the linear motion actuator 10; and a lock device 54 arranged to face a rotating surface of the engaged drum 56 and having a stopper engaged to the engaged drum 56 at the time of the occurrence of the failure. Recessed parts to be engaged to the stopper are continuously arranged in a row on the rotating surface of the engaged drum 56. Each of the recessed parts has a shape to prevent moving of an engaged locking member in the range corresponding to the neutral position of the wheels, and has a shape to allow moving of the locking member toward the neutral position direction outside the range corresponding to the neutral position of the wheels.
