PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure relief valve for an oil filter capable of collecting metal wear powder such as iron powder contained in oil at a time of valve open, reducing the number of components and assembly man-hours, and inhibiting drop of valve open set load. SOLUTION: This pressure relief valve 10 is a valve opened by difference of pressure of oil between an upstream side and a downstream side of a filtering element 2 stored in a casing 3, is provided with a valve seat 11, a valve element 12 opening and closing an opening 15 formed on the valve seat, and a support body 13 supporting the valve element in such a manner that the valve element can displace. One of members of the valve element and the valve seat is made of magnet, another is made of magnetic body or magnet, and the support body is made of non-magnetic body.
