PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a using side to acquire a proper index or summary from a system by a document wherein metadata such as an XML document including an RSS document is structured and described. SOLUTION: In this automatic home page creation system, when a home page creator enters the index or the summary on a page on the Internet in each item and transmits input data, at least one input item is automatically written out as the document structuring and describing the metadata, and the home page is automatically created. Update information or the like of the home page is acquired, and the purchase side can obtain the proper index or summary, and it can be easily decided whether to browse the home page so as to actually obtain detailed information or not.
