PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic teller machine having a card information acquiring part and a biological information acquiring part to confirm identification by comparing card information with biological information acquired by respective parts, which dispenses with operations for card information acquisition and biometric information acquisition. SOLUTION: When a user holds a card for transaction to be brought close to the card information acquiring part by the hand, the palm, a finger, a side, a third joint part of a finger or the back of the hand to be confirmed by biometrics authentication spontaneously move close to the biometric information acquiring part to confirm the identification by comparing the card information with the biological information acquired respectively.
