PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent exhaustion of a buffer of a multimedia stream. SOLUTION: A stream receiving section 11 inputs stream data corresponding to audio and video. Stream managing sections 13a and 13b control the delivery to a stream processing section 12 with respect to video stream data and audio stream data which are input from the stream receiving section 11 and temporarily buffered by a storage section 15. The storage section 15 has an audio buffer area 16 and video buffer area 17, and temporarily holds the stream data in corresponding areas. A buffer management section 14 manages the sizes of the areas in the storage section 15 so that the areas have a ring-like list structure every block, and changes the list structure based on a buffer reconstruction determination condition, thereby dynamically changing the sizes of the areas during input/output of the stream data.
