PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide good working efficiency by easily and surely detaching an excavation drill without reversely rotating a sheath pipe, providing good excavating performance by normally and reversely rotating the excavation drill according to a soil quality, and increase excavating efficiency by reducing a load applied to the excavating drill by scraping up excavated soil according to the rotation of the sheath pipe. SOLUTION: The sheath pipe 1 rotatingly driven by a hydraulic motor is formed of connection tube bodies axially connectable to each other. The excavation drill 5 is fitted to the end of the sheath pipe 1 detachably by a detachable mechanism 9. The detachable mechanism 9 engages and disengages the excavation drill 5 with and from the sheath pipe 1 by rotating a screw shaft 10 operated by an operation rod 17 to move forward and backward the engagement pin 13 in the lateral direction.
