PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing an electrodeposition bath using a cationic electrodeposition coating composition producing less sedimentation of a pigment and capable of stopping circulation work when electrodeposition coating is not performed; and to provide an electrodeposition coating system. SOLUTION: The electrodeposition coating system comprises: using, as a cationic electrodeposition coating material producing less sedimentation of a pigment, an electrodeposition coating material containing (a) a cationic epoxy resin, (b) a curing agent, (c) a pigment such as carbon black or an organic pigment, and (d) a curing catalyst based on a silver catalyst, and further, (e) a cationic acrylic resin; circulating and agitating a portion of the electrodeposition bath 1 by a circulation pump 3 during electrodeposition coating; and stopping the circulation pump 3 and switching to the agitation using an agitation blade 11 when the electrodeposition coating is not performed.
