PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for surely preventing the freezing of a glass surface. SOLUTION: In the method for preventing freezing, in the face material, a liquid and gas-impermeable film layer 2 and an adhesive layer 3 having self-adhesive properties are laminated by an adhesion layer 4, the film layer is formed from any one layer among polyethylene, polypropylene, a polyester, or the like, the adhesive layer having the self-adhesive properties forms a freezing prevention face material which is any one layer among a hydrogenated styrene-butadiene layer, an olefin elastomer layer, or the like, and the outer surface of the adhesive layer having the self-adhesive properties is contacted with the glass surface possible to freeze the freezing prevention face material 1 to be adhered to it.
