PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror surface reflecting film which obtains high-degree uniform light reflectivity and has a metal thin film layer suppressed in the electrostatic trouble of the film as a reflecting surface, especially a laminated polyester film suitable of the base material of a surface light source reflecting film for LCD and the mirror surface reflecting film using it. SOLUTION: In the laminated polyester film containing a layered constitution of a surface layer (A) and a white shading layer (B), the white shading layer (B) comprises a polyester composition containing cavities or inorganic particles therein and the surface layer (A) is a smooth layer comprising a polyester which has an SRz of 0.23μm or below and contains no particles or contains 50 ppm or below of the particles. The light transmittance of the laminated polyester film is 20% or below, either one of the layers (A) and (B) contains an antistatic agent and the surface resistance value of at least one side of the laminated polyester film is 1×10<SP>6</SP>to 1×10<SP>13</SP>Ω/Square.
