A noise filter and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The noise filter includes a common mode choke having a core to eliminate common mode noise, and a magnetic body enclosing and covering the common choke to eliminate differential mode noise. The core and the magnetic body have different initial permeability (mu<SUB>i</SUB>).
