<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of psychologically urging a user to actively utilize power-saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with one or more apparatus functions and includes a standby mode on operation standby and the power saving mode, and is equipped with a power consumption measuring means for measuring power consumption.
