PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function recovery method of a recording head which facilitates removal of bubbles left in a passage between a filter and each recording element substrate in the long inkjet recording head having such a constitution that a plurality of the recording element substrates are arranged staggeringly, and the filter corresponding to each recording element substrate is installed, and to provide its structure, an inkjet recording head high in reliability of printing, and its function recovery method. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording head has both the recording element substrates, in which a plurality of nozzles for ejecting a liquid and a plurality of recording elements that generate an ejection energy are arranged, and a plate for supporting the recording element substrates. The plurality of the recording element substrates are arranged in a nozzle arrangement direction. The filter corresponding to each recording element substrate is installed in the inkjet recording head. The inkjet recording head is equipped with a means which partially recovers the function of each recording element substrate, a means which incliningly attaches the filter, and a slim passage in the passage between the filter and the recording element substrate.
