PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a mobile terminal to an external antenna electromagnetically. SOLUTION: A broadcast receiving apparatus has a mobile terminal table 1 to be connected to the external antenna and the mobile terminal 3 to be detachably installed on the mobile terminal table 1. The mobile terminal table 1 has a first coil 18 to be connected to the external antenna, and the mobile terminal 3 has a second coil 31 to be electromagnetically coupled with the first coil 18 in a state that it is installed on the mobile terminal table 1, a broadcast signal receiving portion 34 connected to the second coil 31 and an informing portion 3a to inform a broadcast based on a broadcast signal received at the broadcast signal receiving portion 34. When the broadcast signal is received through the external antenna in the state that the mobile terminal 3 is installed on the mobile terminal table 1, the broadcast signal is transmitted by an electromagnetic induction from the first coil 18 to the second coil 31 and is supplied to te broadcast signal receiving portion 34.
