<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner for a fuel cell incorporating a resonator function capable of effectively alleviating air-intake noise. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaner for a fuel cell is provided with a case 1 arranged on an air-intake system channel for supplying oxygen to the fuel cell loaded on a vehicle, a first air intake port 2 opened at a wall part of the case 1 to be open at all times, an air lead-out port 3 opened at the wall part of the case 1 to be open at all times, a filter 6 arranged between the first air-intake port 2 and the second air lead-out port 3 in the case 1, a second air intake port 4 arranged in free opening and closing in a space at a side of the first air-intake port 2 in the case 1 and opening and closing in accordance with a running state of a vehicle, and a variable resonator 8 fitted in a space at a side of the first air-intake port in the case 1 and capable of varying an inner volume. A change of volumes of the variable resonator 8 and an aperture of the second air intake port 4 are controlled in interlocking with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
