PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation mechanism of a switching device which is capable of applying one kind of spring operation mechanism to a switching device of many kinds, and contributes to downsizing of a whole switching device, and is improved in reliability. SOLUTION: Even if the posture (horizontal tank/longitudinal tank) of a gas breaker 1 is different, the installation face of a spring operation mechanism 10 and a tank 3 is made common, and a support control device 20, an auxiliary contact device 30, a state display device 40, and a motor 51 are arranged concentrated in any of two installation faces 10a and 10b of the spring operation mechanism according to the posture of the gas breaker.
