摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring optical characteristics capable of accurately measuring the intensity and/or the wavelength of light of an LED chip regardless of directivity of light emission from the LED chip or an incident angle of light. SOLUTION: The device for receiving light from the LED chip 10 by a light receiving means 300, and measuring the optical characteristics of the light from the LED chip 10 based on an output result from the light receiving means 300 is equipped with a plate wherein at least a part where the LED chip 10 is placed is transparent; and a condenser 500 facing to the light emission surface of the LED chip 10 across the plate, for condensing light in each direction from the LED chip 10 into the light receiving means 300. The condenser 500 is provided with an approximately spherical recess 510 having diffuse reflectivity in order to reflect the light from the LED chip 10 and to allow the light to enter the light receiving means 300, from which the light receiving means 300 is viewed.
