PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant polyamide resin composition having excellent flame-retardance in the form of a thin-walled article, extrusion moldability, moldability, impact strength, weld strength and mechanical properties and increased toughness of thin-walled article and toughness (elongation) of weld part and improved color without lowering high weld-strength and high impact resistance. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant polyamide resin composition comprises (a) a polyamide having a terminal carboxyl group ratio of 51-90%, (b) a brominated polystyrene and (c) a copolymer of an aromatic vinyl compound and anα,β-unsaturated dicarboxylic anhydride. The copolymer (c) is compounded in an amount of 0.06-0.75 mass% in terms ofα,β-unsaturated dicarboxylic anhydride based on the sum of the polyamide (a), the brominated polystyrene (b) and the copolymer (c).
